just a small problem with rerouting

Postby stagman1 » Thu May 30, 2013 5:55 pm

this is probably on the wrong part but here goes.
i have got a wince device running igo primo version 9.2.0.191493 (which i think is primo 1.2?)which i use in my work as a truck driver and it works perfectly except for one thing.if i have to go up a street with a weight limit which i have to go over my nav will not accept it it keeps trying to reroute me a different way.i have tried everything i can think of to get it to accept it but to no avail.i tried primo 2.4 and it will come up with a message saying something like"if you accept the risks then carry on"and it will then route me the way i know i have to go.can anyone tell me how,if at all possible,i can get my version to do the same?
i like my version as i have installed a skin that gives me a lot of information on screen as i drive and i dont want to lose it.i have tied to install the same skin on primo v2.4 but i dont get the same info on screen as i do with my older version.
is there a hack to do this or have i got to just accept it?

thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me

Dave

I can't say i've experienced this, but the version you have is indeed Primo 1.2, check here for a list.

You say you tried 2.4 and it wasn't suitable for you, did you try 2.0?

i am currently trying version 2.0 but it looks like it may be virtually the same as v2.4 but i will give it a go and see what happens.

There are some differences between 2.0 and 2.4, it's worth trying the skins as well...

Sorry to butt-in but make sure that you install the correct skin for your program. Not every skin works for all.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

the skin i am using is diMkaWA_P138 but all the other ones i have tried do not show the same info as this one so i think it is down to the version of igo i am using.
