I need some help please!
I was able to install ad run the IGO PRIMO basarsoft 9.6.29.357889 on my Rooted galaxy tab 2. 7 inc cyanogenmod 11. Isntallation and start up was smooth but there is no map shown on the screen. What i can see only the current gps position.
I had placed several maps to the folder: iGO/content/map along with base map file. I tried also different countries maps but still does not show up.
questions:
1. Do I need DEM file or licence or any other files to activate the maps in particular? If so kindly provide the working links please!
2. What type of maps are compatible with the application, since i tried to load from NAVTEQ or HERE but still not working

Where did you download this Primo version from? We can not support programs that not provided on this forum, we can't know how they work.
You need only a map (.fbl) to navigate. DEM and other files are only extra.
Nateq, HERE and TomTom (and more) are compatible with the Primo application.
On our program section and maps section you whould find whatever you need.

Did you download maps for iGO?? maps-buildings-dem-poi-f82/

I got the application from other site. Actually I did try to download from this site but none was working in my device. Mostly were failed upon installation until I got that version which is able to be installed. Other functions of the application are perfectly working even i am able to add many custom POI . The problem is there is no map shown..only the base map.
Any idea which version of Primo is compatible with my device ( in this forum)

only the release date of mine was 8 january 2014.

Anyhow I just installed in my galaxy S2 and its working like charm. I was wondering why its not showing the map in my tab 2

There is something weird when you name the builds.
Take a look here : android-apps-f172/list-known-primo-for-android-t15772.html
Then you see this : 9.6.29.357899 --- iGO primo Israel (8 Jan 2014)
and this : 9.6.29.379219 --- iGO Primo Turkey (21 Mar 2014)

Are you mixing up builds (in files) or just buildnumbers and dates ?

What went wrong upon installation?
What APK did you install? Sys_changed or sys_not_changed?

OK sorry..my mistake.. they are different

Actually I install the first one iGO primo Israel (8 Jan 2014) without changing anything . I just add the maps and languages/voices the one needed.
From the same application was installed and working excellent in my stock rom galaxy s2 but not in rooted tab 2.7 inch.

The installation itself were successful in both devices. The only problem is no maps loaded ( not shown on display) in galaxy tab 2 despite map files were placed on the correct folder (iGO/content/map)
Is there anything to do with resolution?? just my guess

There are to syst.txt files inside the package:
sys.txt for 480x800, 1024x768, 1280x720
sys.txt for 1920x1080

I did not change anything from those. Should I modify in order to get the maps shown??

It won't be anything to do with the resolution as iGO won't start if it's wrong, it's likely to be either a licence problem, or an incorrect path, like the map folder being called maps for example.

If you go into more settings (jigsaw icon) and look for the help option and go to about\more\content (I think) the installed content is listed. If the maps show up in red then it's a licence problem, or if they aren't there then iGO doesn't see them, like a incorrect folder name.

Path was correct and the maps were placed in the correct folder's name :iGO/content/map
I placed the map (fbl,fda,fsp,ftr) on the same folder as base map located but when I check in
: more/help/about/more/content/maps,maps are not in the list only the base map was there

But... again those settings are working in my galaxy S2..no any problem at all

If its licence problem..what should i do or where can I get the licence? download links perhaps

I don't know anything about this BASARSOFT version, but if the maps aren't showing up in the about screen, then iGO isn't seeing them.

If it was a licence problem then they would show up as "inactive content"

The basemap is shown which tells us the folder is correct

So that leaves the application is broken, or the maps are corrupted.
