Don't know exactly what you mean by that, but if you are talking about the *fbl (map) and other map content such as *.fda, etc...no, they do not need to be named the same, but they should have the same release date. If you are talking about individual country map (*.fbl) files only, no they do not have to share common names, and they do not necessarily have to be the same release date, though it is better if they are.
Problem is FBL map and FTR file, for example: "Italy_83_TomTom_2011.12_120510.fbl" "Italy_83_TomTom_2011.12_111230_(TI).ftr" I tried to change date FTR file, but still not working. :(
Simply changing the name does not change the date of the file. The names are not relevant..only the extensions. If the two files (*.fbl and *.ftr) are not from the same mapset (dates of release match), they will not work together. For instance, if you have a map (*.fbl) that was released/created December 12, 2011, a truck routing file (*.ftr) must be of the same release/creation date (December 12, 2011) to work with that map file. The file name can be anything..."map1.fbl" and "truck2.ftr"..changing the name does not change the file.
