Evening All,
Used to be here regularly and was fairly competent with getting builds up and running, but that was 10 years ago!
I have a Chinese no-make Truck sat nav, based on WinCE 6.0 (build 0, March 2011). It's running Primo 2.4, but last updated in 2013. Recently it hasn't been reliable for planning routes and I'm trying to update the maps.
As much info I can get from the actual device:
Brand - Unknown
Rom: V.912C.010000.111008.4G
APP: V1.6AF-U120-HD-en
Sys ID: 0018E420-090000001
4GB, 128k
The Program running is:
iGO PRIMO 2.4
9.6.13.267029
Nov 6 2012
Maps running are United Kingdom 2013.Q2 (NavTeq). map\United_Kingdom_NQ_2013.Q2_130909.fbl
So..... I've downloaded the maps and associated files from the link at the top of the page, iGO_HERE_Europe_2019_Q4, thanks to Fredderf, and distributed the files to the correct folders on the device, replacing the original files (made a full backup first). On first launch I get a crash and 'maps not found' message. Double checked the files and folders and I think they're right, so could this be a compatibility issue?
Are these map files compatible with the version of Primo I'm running, or do I need to update this as well?
Would I be better with a full, clean install with new program and map files?
I've put the original files back on the device for now.
Cheers, Cieran

Can anyone help me with this?

Devices with genuine unmodified Primo will not "see" new content without the correct license. Given yours is a no-name Chinese device this is very unlikely to be your problem but its worth a try to upgrade to the latest WinCE Primo from here

Make a full backup of your device first!!!
