@fbf for give my ignorance where about will i find the faq ive been thru all the setting but i cannot find them. and does this do a demo run not been able to do that yet.what is the latest maps and cameras. ive got poi and voice. plus does this use postcode file for area or just house numbers. because ive been reading about tomtom that uses area code file. help please.

How do i get a shortcut on the desktop?
Open notepad on your PC and type...
"\My Flash Disk\Primo2\Primo2.exe" Which is the path to the executable on your device within quotes
Count all the characters 34 in the above example
Arrange the text like this...
34#"\My Flash Disk\Primo2\Primo2.exe"
Save the file as...
iGO Primo.lnk That's LiNK not INK
Make sure it's iGO Primo.lnk and not iGO Primo.lnk.txt
Your PC will hide .lnk so you'll just have an icon called iGO Primo
If Primo is installed on a SD card then substitute Storage Card for My Flash Disk.
Copy this file to the...
Program Files\Unlock\Desktop folder to have it on your desktop OR Program Files\Unlock\Programs to have it in the Start menu.
Sometimes the Desktop and Programs folders are in the drive root!

but there is nothing on the satnav i still have to use filemance go to igo8 and run the igo.exe file for it to load. plus i have renamed the folder ( in notepad ) to Autorun.lnk and sent it to the unlock folder still the same i put in qoutes and left them out so what am i doing wrong. or would it be best to use this,

@ fbf ive just had a thought ive been reading thru the post to get it to run. im useing igo8.exe. so should the auto run be igo8.exe and NOT primo2.exe. also like some1 else who put a post up my smartst as moved about to spaces down the screen. i am running igo8 not primo2 thanks. help please.

Yes, the shortcut should point to igo8.exe, also check the full path including folder names.

Otherwise it looks for a file that doesn't exist

ive put the file in program files\unlock\desktop. so that gives me smartst and igo primo. and ive put auto.link in
program files\unlock autorun link.

i can get a lock on the gps and and put a address in but it will not show on desktop it moves smartst 2 spaces down and it will not do the autorun after doing a reset i have to use the filemance to get it to work what am i doing wrong i have typed the words in not past and copy and saved them as you adviced. can you be more prosice on this ( Sometimes the Desktop and Programs folders are in the drive root! ) incase im putting them in the wrong place thanks. help please.

1 more thing should i delete everything of the device expect for the unlock ie what i mean is the original mio program.

@fbf well ive been using the mio with the primo on it for a couple of days now and all is running ok .but i cannot get it auto start or on the desktop thanks for your help any idea what im doing wrong thanks. help please.

Just have one line in the text file that starts with the number, ie, 34#"\...

Open the smartst shortcut for an example.

thanks fbf ill try that and report back. im just down loding your update pack thanks by the way. which speedcam folder do i use there is 2 folders PGPSW 31-10-12 and SCDB EUROPE 31-3-13 or do i use all 3 txt files in both folders thanks. help please.

It's one or the other, the pgpsw is older but more accurate, but the other one is newer, don't use both or camera locations will be duplicated.

@fbf heres a crash log maybe you can tell me whats wrong when i use /or run moov400 thanks.help please.

The crash log doesn't tell me a lot, what's the problem?

Try this one, this should work if you used my programme.

Place it in the ../unlock/desktop directory
