Can you mix and match different elements of the map, poi's, art profiles etc.

It is argued that for the UK TomTom have the better maps. However I don't have the smart route profiles and the like for tomTom but I do for Navteq. If these files are put in the same folder will Primo reference them or simply ignore them on loadup (if I only have the TomTom fbl present)

You cannot mix map elements from different map makers in the same folder. They conflict.

Thanks for the quick reply chas. Thought that might be the case.

But can you mix and match maps, say by tomtom with poi's that are by NAVTEQ. They are in different folders.

Also, for example, in my POI folder I have amassed several files. Some are NAVTEQ and some Tomtom. Does Primo load all that is present and use them all. When you do a contents list it shows them all

Yes, you can mix maps and POIs from different providers as long as the files are in different folders. For example, Navteq maps in content\map and TT [TA] POIs in content\poi. However, you will probably get multi poi icons showing if you have duplicate poi files.
