danish text files

Wed Sep 26, 2012 6:01 pm

info.ini and content/*.lua

see timestamps for revised files

If only winrar is the problem I would appreciate if you could direct me to a better/working version of winrar for windows as I probably have to make a number of corrections to get it spot on.

Edited and tested Danish TTS-Pro voice.

All I can tell you for absolute certain is that the attached voice works.

For WinRar, I currently use 4.01 (64 bit), but I have also used other previous versions and never had any issues...and still don't.

Wondering while waiting ..

More - at least 2 - versions of faulty danish files are available for download. Why haven't anybody complaint about the quality before or tried to fix it? (it is not rocket science to do the text changes). I know there is several (non-IGO) well working TTS systems. Isn't it possible to 'borrow' components from such 'foreign' systems? If this nua solution is becoming ok - is it worth investigating a LOL solution? What does it take?

I use this Winrar [registered but cracked] http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?9394-WinRAR-4.11-Final-%2832-64-bit%29-%E2%80%A2-Registered-version

downloaded winrar from your link
opened the .zip file from the sd card with winrar (checked it was the new version)
edited info.ini (notepad)
made a simple change
exit with save and archive update
BANG - crash during startup again

I know that you're working with YT on this problem. BTW, he's VERY good. That's why we chose him and I'm glad that he accepted. When I want to add something to an archive, I just open the archive with Winrar and copy and paste the file. When I go to close Winrar, the application automatically compresses what I added. At the end it might ask me if I want to add the new file to the archive. I choose yes and let it happen.

BTW, so I know, what is the language and phoneme for your area? Thanks.

I'n not sure if this is what you want:

winrar (or my use of it) must be the problem. have tried to do the same from hd and copy the result to sd - still crashes

should I send the resulting .zip files to you to look at? Here it is:4746

There are Danish voices [is that Dutch] that go into a program - content\voice and then there is a language file that goes into content\lang. But there can also be a phonetics file that helps with pronunciation that goes into content\phoneme.

So, are all 3 Danish, Dutch or what? I have a Netherlands phoeneme file. Is that for you?

dutch is more or less a throat decease - danish is viking language

do you need more files?

Take another look at 24 regarding the edit.

I guess that I'm not clear. We have the voice files, the language files. I have a Netherlands phoenme file. Would that be for you? Or is there another pronunciation file instead.

Wed Sep 26, 2012 9:19 pm

Well - danish is definitely not dutch (netherlands). I've attached the danish files in #23.

I'll be happy to provide textual corrections and tests if somebody could 'compile' a working .zip

All relevant files are attached to earlier posts.

I see that already have the Danish phoneme file, so forget my request. FYI, it's the .ph file.
