Nav N Go 8..3.5.193799 May 27 2011 arrow Icon replacement

Postby waiapasi2006 » Sat Sep 13, 2014 1:12 am

This is the version my Unit came with. Very stable, but I still want to keep it as a back up.

What I want to do is change the directional arrow to a car. I don't know if this is possible, but I am willing to give it a try.

I did some :024:
I tried by following this post below, but had no luck.

I noticed the folder mentioned in the link above gfx folder doesn't exist in the current version I have.

How can one go about getting this done?

Do a search for Kimyaci car collection.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

I do have the car collection for primo 2/2.4 (from Kimyaci)
I have read you need to use a certain/or skin to get the arrow icon to change into a car.
I just loaded a skin, but all I have is a mini coupe with the arrow underneath it that came with the skin. There isn't an option for me to choose a car of my liking.

Look at the Kimyaci site for 3D cars not using a skin or from Google. As to the GFX folder, just create it in the root of the program.
