Navigation for dummies device fd 220 help

Postby 2gunz » Sun Apr 08, 2012 12:55 am

I recently bought a "Navigation for Dummies" model # FD-220 by Maylong and the map on it is absolutely horrendous and worthless. I m looking to get a new map on it, however not exactly sure which direction I need to go. I m a noob and looking for guidance so please help. Btw I live in the United States and looking for a North American map. Also, the device is Windows CE 5.0. Thank you

Thanks for the info Fatboyfun. Based on the info looks like my best bet is to go with IGO so ended up downloading a map specifically this one:

http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?9209-iGO-R3-Primo-MyWay-(NAVTEQ)-USA-Canada-2011.Q3-(2011.12)-Maps-POI-Hnr-buildings

From what I understood I need IGO 8.3.2 - IGO 8.3.5 software to use this map however I can't find a working download link. Help please
