Navsure iGO8 Update

Ive seen throughout a few threads on here with regards to succesfully updating the navsure.

could any please enlighten me with details

Successfully?

The original iGO application has been modified to work with the hardware sound mixer, And the latest versions we (or anyone else) provide are not, meaning if you install one you get no sound, however a member noticed that on another similar unit if you play mp3's while iGO is running it works. (silent mp3?)

You can buy from Halfords (for a silly amount of money) an updated version.

theres one for sale on ebay, the updated igo and maps for 30, might get it and upload the files to here to help out

If it's an official update it'll not work with the maps we provide and is locked to the original card, but maybe someone can do "something" with it...

with regards to no sound, is that no sound from the actual navigation or the whole unit

by any chance would you know about what sd card to use as i transferred all my files from one sd to another (original files) and it wouldnt work but stick it back on original it would work.

and do you know any one who has a copy of igo8 which starts up for navsure not bothered about sound at moment

As it's an official update it's locked to the card, As fat as I'm aware any version works, just rename the folders and files to match the original card

when i rename it all, it deletes the old files and then installs the new ones but once its done it can't find navigation

Make sure the path to the app is exactly the same as the original
