Hi guys,
Recently my cousin came from UAE and he asked if it was possible to upgrade his Mio Moov 300 gps device to use the latest and greatest maps of UAE (Dubai). I have absolutely no idea on how to do that and have never experimented with the device before. I only just learnt how to update the maps for my TomTom device by using fastactivate.exe but other than that I have no idea where to begin with his GPS device.

Any suggestions, steps, guides, tutorials will help immensely.

You can't upgrade the maps in the original software, but you can unlock and run other software...

Check map availability first, also your device I think has 32MB RAM, so iGO8 is the best choice.
