alright great got the program downloaded and it loads up on my double din, load times are much quicker. Just a quick question chas521, will this program support 800*480? i tried changing the sys.txt and added the data.zip file i had on my primo , but the program fails to start with that resolution, any suggestions??

That's because you're using a Primo data.zip, Amigo needs a data.gro with the correct resolution files within.

Yeah, like Fatboy said, use the existing data.gro then my sys.txt and the stretch will fill the screen like mine.

Ive found double din in car navis work best and fast with igo8.3.4 (or 2)
I run them with all add ons except I disable poi's.
No issues on 6 units Ive loaded on so far. Only one more didnt like tts.Owner didnt need it anyway.
I have had too many issues with Primo (and Garmin xt) so I stick mainly to igo8.3.4 (11th May 2010)

ok so i dl igo 8.3.4 and it says it supports all resolutions, so i deleted all the resolutions in the data.zip files except for the 800*480 , and i did the same with the branding.zip file and changed the sys.txt, but still when i boot up the program the picture only fills up a quarter of the screen, any tips for me please

I have this right?
(1) your screen is 800*480 no VGA
(2) you have only that resolution file in data.zip
(3) your screen is filled 25% like 400*240

Add under the section [rawdisplay]
class=”landscape”
screen_x=800
screen_y=480
stretch=1 Now see if that helps.

nabi i changed the rawdisplay in my systxt to what you suggested and i booted igo up but i still have 25% of the screen showing still and now the screen is displaying sideways, any other changes i can make?

Swap the x and y ?

Yes on iGO8 too then. Depends on the screen. When it is a VGA screen or not.
Besides it is in daviddirwins sys.txt. (post #23)

itook out the class: landscape line from the systxt but the screen is back to the same way it was in the beginning...blahh
