Need some help

Sat Jul 06, 2013 12:26 pm

Hey guys first post here so be gentle with me! This past week I got a [Please Register or Login to download file] off of amazon and just got it installed two days ago. As best as I can tell its using igo primo 2 for the nav software. While in the unit this morning I was looking at some of the different settings and to be honest I cant remember exactly what it was called but it was to the effect of changing the look of the ui. I had three options. Default, cockpit 2, and cockpit 3. I decided to see what cockpit 2 looked like so i selected it. Again this is in the actual UI not manipulating any config files.

The nav exited and started up again - got about half way and threw this error:

"Failed to open File:ui_igo9\800_480\ui\cockpit_2.css exiting application"

I pulled the SD card started snooping and discovered that the ui directory didnt even exist.

Before I received the unit I had already gone out and downloaded the latest ver of primo2 not knowing what the unit was going to have on it. I searched that batch of files and found the directory and a css called templates. I extracted all those files and copied them over to my sd card and renamed the templates.css file to cockpit_2.css

Went back out to my car and fired up the nav. It now loads about halfway and stops. Waited a good 2-3 minutes and the progress bar had stalled. No error messages.

looking for any help that you guys can provide. I really am fine with defaulting it back to factory as I dont even have a single fav or anything saved in it. This was pretty much the first setting I changed and now i just want to get my nav back.

Also here ar the contents of my sys file. I went here first looking for a way to change the setting back but cant see anything.

Thanks so much!

Try deleting the save folder from the root. Completely shutdown your device, wait a few seconds and then re-start. See if that helps.
