Do I need to download all of the files for only POI and Building? If not, do you know which one(s) I need?

Actually, the best thing to do is to download all the parts since there are parts of each in each part. However, before you do anything, what US state[s] are you looking for? Someone might just have what you need to save you some time. It's probably not a good idea to ask to for the whole US since that might be too much and cause memory errors. I know you said NA but I'm just assuming here.

Problem updating POI's Buildings, & SpeedCams

Postby RoadnTrail » Wed Aug 03, 2011 3:30 pm

I downloaded the TeleAtlas Maps and related files. I replaced the Navteq POI's, Buildings and SpeedCams in my memory card in iGO8>Custom and POI, building or Speedcam. Was that the proper procedure?

I put the card in my Mio C310X and rebooted the GPS. I selected iGO8 on the menu. The reboot hung up on the "POI Manager Init. What is wrong?

Thanks.

Because you put them in the wrong places. Buildings go into content\building, POIs go into content\poi and speedcams go into content\speedcam.

I checked and I had given you wrong information. They are in the content folder This is from my file location on my computer for the card: G:\iGO8\content\poi Sorry. HOWEVER, I put the card back in the GPS and found that it progressed:clap: beyond the POI INIT in the boot up and everything works. Thanks for the help.

What license are you using? Are you using a cracked program or the real thing? I see that all is working OK now. So, best of luck and just know that we are here if\when you need us. Tell your friends.
