I am glad I saw this thread. I just downloaded the Q1-2013 maps and poi's filesupload has given us the other day as I am going on a trip next month from NH to VA and wanted the most up to date maps. I think I had Q2-2012 or Q3-2012 loaded? I know there was some road work in the area I am going at the end of last year so I hoped the Q1-2013 maps would cover it.

I just downloaded the Q4-2012 maps( Q1-2013 poi's should still be ok right? )and am going to use those instead. I would rather have it a little out of date than have it crash and/or reboot at random. After all that trouble I had with it freezing and crashing on me, that is finally fixed, I would flip out if it happened again. I am REALLY glad I saw this thread.

One of the states I am going through is NY and I don't need road names to be off.

OK.. After trying to put the 2013.q1 USA maps back on today, I get a new message...

This is under HELP/MORE/CONTENT/PREPROCESSED ROAD NETWORK

All say the same thing, Just replace the words EASY, ECONOMICAL, FAST, SHORT

It can be that it is because you don't have *all* countries maps on your device.
Try to add this to your sys.txt:

[route]
hnr_ignored_missing_country_ids=*

You want Q412 maps for those states. Give me the names you need and I'll upload them for you. Not all 50 please!

I have already downloaded and swapped out Q4-2012 maps for Q1-2013. Thanks though.

Good choice to use Q412 and not Q113.

yea, I keep the 2012.q4 maps on hand... I'm just wondering when the q2 2013 maps are gonna be out... and will they fix whatever issue it is that q1 is having..
