New alert sounds bit rate etc?

Hi I'm trying to get 3 new alert sounds (Which I'm making) to play in primo 2 they show up but when you click on them nothing.

Is there a set bit rate, sample rate etc they need to be?

I don't know.
Have you tried copying an existing sound file to your PC, right click on it and see what quality it is?

Yes tried that they all seem to be different, just not sure if there is a set format to follow etc.
