Put the *.fbl file in your content/map folder.
If there are POI files, they go in content/POI.

That's all really...not really "install", just copy the files to the correct places and that's it. Start the nav program and see the new maps.
iGo or Primo will always default to using the newest maps by date, but no reason to keep older ones, so you can just delete them out of the content/map folder as they are replaced with new ones.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Many thanks again - seems like it's ok - the new map is working, another issue is Speed Cams - i followed the directions from here http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?9343-Speedcams-Spring-2012-both-EU-and-Worldwide and first copied only "SpeedcamUpdates.spud" and removed all the rest old files - error on boot "Out Of Memory.Requested: 4064 Cache 146182", same when restored old files and add a "SpeedCamText" only. I even removed Sweden Map.fbl as it over 50Mb to make a space but still the same error. Any suggestions ? Thanks for your help

I don't know the specifications of your device...like how much program memory (RAM) it has...but this could be an issue. Too much is loading for the device to handle. Another reason for 'out of memory' messages is that one or more files are corrupt or not in the right place.
Try deleting the Save folder in the main iGo folder, restart, and go through the setup process again.

I don't know exactly what you mean by that, but new and old speedcam files should not be mixed together.

Thanks for your help and sorry for posting it in wrong place before, anyway, originally in SPEEDCAM folder were those files:
Australia.spb 10.1 Kb
NewZealand.spb 812 bytes
speedcam.spdb 11.9 Kb
SpeedcamUpdates.spud 0 bytes

First time the only new "SpeedCamText" file was added - error on boot, then all files were removed and only new "SpeedcamUpdates.spud" 1.19Mb was added - error again, "Save" folder was removed - same error plus unable to "Set as Destination" - "Map path was isolated" - restoring old "Save" - seems to be ok and again "SPEEDCAM" folder was restored by originally old files. Any ideas ? Cheers

I'm not all that familiar with Australia/New Zealand (other members here are, and maybe they will see this thread and chime in), but I do know that sometimes the maps are 'special'...not exactly Navteq, not exactly Teleatlas/TomTom, but iGo compatible just the same (such as Sensis or other). Problems can arise with speedcam files and sometimes you can only successfully use any speedcam files that come with any new mapset for Oz/Nz. As opposed to the general speedcam files that may indicate "World", but not actually include the two downunders.
Again, there are members here who know more about this...best to wait for their guidance.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Sep 10 2010
Current map is NZ 6.1 Where Is Map Data 100811

Replace the old NewZealand.fbl with a new one from the torrent above as i did for my another device

And now i see: "New Zealand Map 8.1 Inactive Content (map\NewZealand.fbl) under "About - More - Content - Maps"

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Is that the original software as it came with the device?
If so, you have a licensing issue, and will not be able to use any newer maps until you also replace that iGo version with another such as downloaded from here.

Depends largely on the device.
Primo 2 is good for relatively new devices with a minimum of 64 MB RAM (128 for running with all the extras), and is usually easy to install (Primo 2 does a pretty good job of auto-detecting stuff)
iGo 8.3x is best on older or RAM-Challenged devices, and may need a little help with proper entries in sys.txt for some things. iGo 8 also supports more 'non-standard' screen resolutions than does Primo 2.
You could try either or both and see which runs best/which one you like best.
Both use the same maps and other local content (but NOT the same skins or voices!)
Primo 2 link in my signature, good iGo8 version here:
http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6880-Igo8-March-5-2011
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
