Yes i mean just the igo.exe file itself , but if you wish you can upload all the contents of the working SD card excluding the maps folder and voice folder.

If you do this, you also need to copy/paste the license folder as well. They are tied together. Hence, making a cracked version. It's also usually a good idea to delete the save folder and re-do the options.

I will see about getting something uploaded somewhere on the 8.3.4 later. I don't have a file sharing account setup anywhere at this time. Just a photobucket account for photos and videos and that won't do it. I want to deal with getting a fully working 2nd 8.3.5 right now but will do it later and PM you.

I appreciate all the help you have given me. I want to still try and make your download work if you are game to keep trying. If so have you any ideas on how to proceed with the final tweaks to get your version going on my radio? Maybe replace your DATA.zip with nabi's( think I read you can do that )?

Also, I was wondering about something. I seem to recall reading yours was altered to start at the map screen vs the standard menu. Is that correct? If so could that be causing any of this?

If you think I am better off staying with nabi's as it seems to be working there is the issue of no sound( at all )and it is not getting any signal. The 8.3.4 version I have doesn't produce any sounds either. There are quite a few "hidden" TTS files on the SD card that came with the radio. Maybe I need those?

In order:

Changing the data.zip may or may not work. Here's the reason. The data and branding.zip are connected to work with the license folder. The license folder is the thing that lets the maps be recognized. If you try it, do not just overwrite the old data.zip but delete it entirely and copy/paste the new one. Also delete the save folder - you'll have to re-do the options [settings] if you have them already.

Over 2000 people have downloaded MY program and used it successfully. So, my program is fine. Nabi's is an older version while is relatively new.

I got chas521's version to work!!!!!

You all have done so much for me already that I have been trying to play with this on my own to see if I couldn't get it. I decided the worst that would happen is I would have to to reload something if I screwed it up. So, on a whim I replaced chas521's DATA.zip with nabi's and tried it and it loaded right up. Yeah me.

It didn't have GPS signal but I used auto-detect and it found it so that is fixed.

I have to load maps now and see if they will work. I think on my radio SD cards somewhow the maps are tied to the license because I can't use the newer maps from the original SD card on the replacement they sent( they conveniently left off the latest map guarantee on the new card ).

Also, there is no sound at all as with the 8.3.4 the seller sent me and nabi's version so if we can now start working on that I would appreciate it. I want the sound to work. Let me know what info you need me to look at on the radio SD card. Seems apparant there is something special to make it work over the car radio speakers( when sound takes palce the speaker volume goes way down ).

I had a 2012.Q3 NH map and POI file that I got from this site already( downloded a big .rar that has all the states and Canada ). They work on your version it seems. I just tried them and they seem to be working. Just had to rename them to match the files on the radio SD card.

I am going to try the rest and see how it goes. I travel quite a bit( mainly up and down east cost but you never know )so I am going to get the maps and POI's in there.

Question though on something other than the sound issue. How do I get rid of the blue car and just use the standard arrow? I looked around and don't see any way to change it. I prefer the standard arrow.

Here's NH maps [fbl]. File goes into content\map. I have to keep looking for the POIs. I think I have them somewhere. Use my program as the regular one because now you can update content.

Don't know why you had to rename the maps but if they work OK. What about the voice sounds now?

To change back to the arrow, do this:
Go the GFX folder and open it. You see the first five files starting with car.mdl and ending with civic_blue.tex? Just delete them. Shutdown your device, wait a few seconds and re-start.

I thought my upload (8.3.5.231128 dated 20 april 2012) came in later than your build (8.3.5.183522, March 16 2011).
And of course data.zip is interchangeable. No license issue. Data.zip as well as branding.zip is connected with the exe file or exe file series.
