Try without the skin and with the diMKA skin.
When the problem stays, it's likely a bug in Primo. Then you could try another Primo build or wait for the new to come (and we are waiting since quite a while) 1.2 build. Or why not install iGO 8.3 on your 2Din?

Because Primo with GJA skin is the most beautiful and functional (optimal) navigation for me. The navigation is very good, with big signs, especially because l don't use voice guidance. l prefer Primo over Igo 8 or Amigo (which is the most terrible for me). This is personal taste.
l will try earlier build or wait for 1.2.
In the end, the trip recording is not soooo important and crucial for me, l can live without it...
