Hello my friends!

This is actually my first time in this forum and I see you guys are cool!
Unfortunately, I am having a little problem setting up my iGo Primo2 running on a Wince 6 Dvd Car device. (Double Din)

So, I Installed it normally and it's running perfect, but when I go to maps there's this "black backgound" "No maps" only the blue GPS arrow on position. Even though shows me the longitude and latitude position, but no actual maps..

I wonder why? I mean, is there something wrong with the SD card? folders? everything is running fine except for the maps.

any ideas?? please help!

you need to reload some maps,same happened to me and thats what i had to do. if you have made a backup then reload from there , if not get them off here.

I suspect you only have the basemap.fbl in the map folder.

it was as simple as putting the Basemap.fbl inside maps folder along with all the maps files, they were outside

Did you try to look for the buildings for your area in the maps section?
When you find them, put them in content/building folder.

Well, I was browsing through the maps sections and the ones that I need " 2011-2013 U.S Navteq Maps,Poi,Buildings" or "iGo Primo Maps & Buildings" says the files has been deleted from that website because it violates the standards. Unless if somebody here would be so NICE to send them to me. - I only need Pois + Buildings

You will find them here.
For the moment, I think "share-byte" is having technical problems right now.

I wonder how dip did you dig... take a look at the first page of the maps section.

You're right, Share Byte is having difficulties at the moment, but I am downloading it from uploads mirror - Regarding those threads I believe I went too deep back to 2009 threads, but I couldn't find any downloads.. Anyways, I will update later how I did with the ones I am downloading now!

Pois + Buildings doesn't work in my software specially Pois is what I really Need.

Wait! You have to enable POI's that you want to see on screen, Did you? And can you search for a POI?
Building need to be enabled as well, only not every city/town/village is covered by the building files. I suppose (don't know) New York is covered, but outside New York ???

Yeah, I enabled it, but when I look for something randomly like "Gas Stations" doesn't show up anything. For the buildings, I don't know if it'll show up when I drive to New York this weekend.. Does any Pois from another Gps works on my iGo Primo? or it has to be Pois for only iGo Primo?

Only IGO/Primo POI files. You can use .kml files as well in userdata folder.
What POI files did you download, by the way?

Go to:
Settings- Visual Guidance Settings- Facility Types
and check the facilities (petrol stations) you want to see on map while driving. Don't check too many categories...
If you have the building file for NY, if will show where buildings is aavailable.
List of availble building files is on the thread where you dowloaded it from.

I downloaded the Buildings + Pois from this thread @filesupload provided to me, maps-buildings-dem-poi-f82/canada-here-for-2013-t15248.html#p124381 I Put buildings in content/buildings folder and Pois in content/pois folder and Nearby locations won't show up.. I even tried to download the iGo Primo 2.4 - 9.6.13 complete from a thread here and Buildings is empty and so is the Pois and Dem.
I will try using .kml files to see if it shows up.. I will try @Filesupload suggestion too on the settings menu. Something's wrong

Pois + Dem are working properly! I accidentally deleted those files back a month ago and I recovered Pois + Dem files from a Data Recovery Program called " Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery" However, I did not recover Buildings file, but I did indeed paste the Buildings files I downloaded from here into my GPS Unit. I don't know yet, but I will drive to New York this weekend, I hope to see at least one building . Anyways, I have the most important, UPDATED MAPS, POIS, AND DEM Running like a champ.
