$poi_mapdist.bmp not found error - Primo 2.4-9.6.13

Postby CrazyBiker » Mon Dec 16, 2013 9:24 pm

Says can't find that bmp file. I get this error in certain areas and pressing OK crashes the software. This is probably some poi detail issue. How to fix it? I am running 2012 Q4 maps and poi.

Californa. This is a Windows CE Chinese nav system in my Venza. I got the software from Navitotal torrent.

Is it possible that when in those particular areas that you're not getting a satellite lock or losing the one you have? From what I read in your post, the problem only happens when you go into those areas. Also, I don't recommend Primo in the US. I suggest iGO8.

A while ago, I had the same problem in particular areas/roads. I found out that it have to do with driver alerts signs.
I was playing with the driver alerts setting, and unchecked some of them.

in the meanwhile, go get the latest global_cfg version and replace yours with it (in your_device/content/global_cfg):
