Primo brand icon don't show-up only in 3D... Please help!...

Dear Gentlemen,

I'm having an issue that I have no clue how to resolve.

To make a long story short, I had started to make my own branded POI icons for Primo 1.2. To my surprise  I had somewhat good success.

When in 2D mode, I can see my branded icons on the map screen and also on the preview screen. My icons also appear into the search POI menu.

If I switch to 3D mode, all my branded icon desappear from the map, the only icon left are the native blue ballon.

Is someone has a clue how to resolve that? I tried different parameters in SYS.txt related to POI's and no luck.

To brief you a bit, my resolution is 800X480 and my branded icons are 60X60 pixels x 32bits color depth.

If someone can help me, I will appreciate till the end of time.

Regards,

Charles

To begin with, I like your real name! There is a difference in the way that the program reads 2D vs. 3D. 2D is a pretty much basic drawing so demands are not so great. However when you come to 3D, now the program is asked to work harder. You're sort of lucky that 2D is working. Usually, only basic icons are shown. I'm not so sure that you're going to get better in 3D.

Hi Guys,

Well, I finally managed to make it work in 2D and 3D :yahoo:. I have beautiful branded icons all over the place, I don't have to search what's the nearest pit-stop, now it's on the map.

It was a bit of hard work but the result is just amazing!

Thanks,

Carlos
