Ok at this moment i don't know so I will need to do some research as this is new software and there may be certain hardware requirements that are unknown to us at this time...

Hi,

I had the same problem as you did on my s2. Any attempt to re-install still gave the language setup followed by a close.

I think there may be a problem with my download since when I used a different apk. It worked with all the contents from here. I don't want to say too much about the source of the other apk so that I don't fall foul of forum rules, but it is not a full version of the igo software; just the small apk file of about 6mb.

Good luck,

Antony

@AntonyL

As I also have an SGS2, may I ask what Android version and whether you have root access?

For the record mine is stock unbranded ics but rooted, and I've uninstalled and installed several times during testing and it's worked flawlessly everytime.

Also please send me the link to the other version by private message so we can compare it to ours.

iGo NowGo!

I managed to get hold of primo thin v.1.0.apk. After installing and uninstalling Primo using the apk from here, I renamed the folder on the SD card to iGO and installed the thin.apk. That made it work.

The difference seems to be at the EULA stage - I never saw an EULA before.

That's because we disable it in the sys.txt...

[debug]
skip_eula=1

We have a new version available...

You need to install it to a folder called Primo in the root of the SD Card. That's Primo, it isn't primo. It may make a difference. Did you put the Primo.apk in the Primo folder then install it from there?

ie phones internal memory

Thanks for the report...it is appreciated.
Glad to know it's working for you.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Now I have got it working nicely (thanks very much), I wondered about traffic.
On the CE version, the TMC over HTTP works a treat. Is something similar possible for the Android version?
All my Android devices have web access built-in, so it would be useful!
