I can't seem to get this to install. I had to uninstal iGo MyWay first, and then it reckoned to have installed, but when I try to run it, it says there is no global_cfg.
Of course there is - it is in content/global_cfg/global_cfg.zip But try what I may, iGo noGo.

You got it from here, right?
And you followed the instructions (put "Primo" folder on SD Card), right?
It should install and run. Unless there is something odd about your device..like some odd path to the SD card (which you can change in sys.txt if necessary).
What device is it, and what version of Android?

If I remove my global_cfg.zip I get the same error, but on replacing it, it works again.
What device do you have?

This is on a Huawei 8815

That's the odd thing. I did follow the instructions, but there is no sign of a sys.txt in the Primo folder.
It is a Huawei 8815 (Vodafone "something or other" 300) running the standard Android 2.3.6.

Hi Yurbah,
the link to the small file required for tts doesnt work. I get the following when I click it:

Just to be sure, I tried again on a Viewsonic Viewpad, running Android 2.2.2 and got exactly the same error. Perhaps the file I downloaded is corrupt, or could it be because iGo MyWay was installed on these devices before?

I had the older version of iGO before as well, Do you still have the iGO folder from the last installation?
Sun Jul 29, 2012 8:38 pm
Yes, it is still there, in a directory called /iGo.
When I tried to install Primo the first time it said it would replace an existing application, but that install failed. Then I uninstalled IGo MyWay and "successfully" installed Primo.
When Primo failed to work, I uninstalled it, and simply ran the .apk for MyWay and it came back, retaining all settings.
I haven't tried removing the iGo directory - I shall want the maps and other stuff from there - but I could try renaming it.

Success! I renamed the iGo folder to iGone and then Primo installed successfully. Well, it got past the error I had. More feedback later...

That's great, you will find that it's just like the primo 2 we are all used to on windows devices, I'd backup the 'igone' folder and remove it from the device, just in case any other problems arise from it's presence.

Odd. It works for me...I just downloaded it. Using Internet Download Manager.
Edit: And I just downloaded it
again...direct without using Internet Download Manager. File gets to me just fine.

Well, it didn't work for me a few hours ago, and it still doesn't. Same error - invalid attachment. I've tried with different browsers.

Doesn't work for me as well.

Sadly, it still doesn't work. It starts up, lets me select the language, then just before the progress bar reaches the end, it all vanishes, with iGo closed down. No sign of an error.txt file. I have deleted the iGone folder completely, but that didn't help.
