Primo 2.0 map screen too bright in Day Mode

Postby paccman » Thu Aug 30, 2012 11:24 pm

Hi

I am hoping someone can help with this. My screen in Day mode is too bright, I can only see the road that I am supposed to be following but all roads leading off my route are very white with only street names showing. I have tried to reduce the brightness using the menu but it has no effect. It doesn't matter what skin I use, all are too bright.

Is there a way to reduce the brightness in sys.txt or any other file?

Any help would be appreciated.

If the screen brightness adjustment sliders do not work for you on your particular device, then adding to sys.txt will probably do no good either.
Does the device itself (before you start the navigation software) have any settings in it's own menu for screen brightness?
If not, maybe try a different color scheme (even one for 'night') to see if that suits you.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

The device settings will not go dark enough
Anyone know of a day scheme that is on the "dark side"?

Unless I'm missing something you can go into map settings and set it to always be in night mode rather than automatic.
