Postby herysurono1 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 8:31 am

I am using primo 2. It works ok.
Can you advise how to show the railway?
Shall we put extra lines in the sys.txt ?

Don't really know what you mean.
Driver alerts?
POI?
Something else?
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Sure. Enter this entry in the sys.txt:

[debug]
traincrossing=1

@yurbuh: what i mean is the railtrack (train), there should be railway on the map, but it doesn't show up.

@chas521: I have put the lines in sys.txt, but the train track still doesnt show up. I reset it to default, still doesnt work.
Do we need to use a particular skin or theme ?

This is my sys.txt

Railroad tracks are displayed by default on the map in Primo2.
That is why I asked what you meant.
Usually displayed as a broken (long dashes)thick line of Gray/Black. Nothing special should be needed to see them, nor is anything needed in sys.txt.
If you are not seeing known train tracks on your map display, it could be that your current map set is flawed and does not contain them, or try using the diMka skin (the one I currently use...and they are displayed for sure), but I don't think it is skin-related.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

I just replaced the previous map with navnet version (for indo map), whilst leaving other country maps untouched.
If I check railway station poi in another country (eg: Singapore), yes there is railroad track.
But if I check the loocation in Indo, the track is not there.
Most probably it is the map which is the issue. I will try to put 2 maps (navnet and the other previous one). Thx for the help.
