Is there a youtube video so I can view Primo 1.2 in action?

Plus I'd like to know the reasons why I should uprade?

Thanks

Good memory Chas.

Yes I am. Anyway, like I said running IGO8.3. My system is a double din chinese knock off (Audiosources AS7608 VW Jetta 2009), non-HD (480x234) and I like the Gurjon skin.

It's running great with no problems, but hey...wouldn't mind upgrading if it has value.

Really nice to see an old friend. It's been too long BTW. I also remembered that you made good valuable posts back when and we would like to see your participation again here. You know how to install things so I'll just touch upon the links and so-so information. Here goes:

In my opinion, the older iGO 8.3 stands among the best. It has many options and you're probably used to the inner workings now. Primo [more or less] is based upon the older Amigo and its program reminds me of such. I've tried all the versions of Primo including the new 1.2 but honestly I didn't like the way it navigated so I went back to the November 1.1. 1.1 navigated perfectly and recently I added the US Redlight file that I uploaded here. It works perfectly and announces the verbal warning. This is why I asked if you were from NJ. If you're interested in trying 1.1, I give you the link plus the link to the redlight file.

Thanks for the compliments.

Maybe I'll check out Primo 1.1. I also have the speed/red lights cams in my 8.3 with 3d, plus custom cars.

Any problems running Primo 1.1 with 480x234 and the gurjon skins?

Thanks again.

@camaro69

I gave the wrong link to the Primo 1.1 skin. Should be [Please Register or Login to download file] For some reason, I gave you 1.2.

Yes, ALL links work for all upload sites.

Hi Chas,

I was able to grab the first link file you posted.

But was that Primo 1.1 or 1.2?

That's the first 1.1 but I didn't like the navigation. That's why I did what I did from the November. It worked fine.

What do you mean? Do all the steps I did - post #65. Read what I did in each link post.

I wasn't sure if the link posted was 1.1 or 1.2.

I also noticed in the .sys file that you have it set to 480x272.

Guess I should change it to match my system...480x234 or should I leave it as is?

I guess that I wasn't clear enough in my instructions. So:

1. Download and install the first Primo 1.1
2. From the November 1.1 do what I did in the linked post
3. Copy and paste the redlight.txt to content\speedcam
4. Delete the sys.txt and copy mine from above. Include any entries for your device.
5. Go to the skin site and download you resolution skin

I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

Looks like I need to add maps, dems, POI's and a few other items.

Thanks
