Primo 2 Tunnelview

Primo 2 Tunnelview

Postby fu_zhou » Sat Dec 31, 2011 4:44 pm

I'm not yet celebrating, so the Tunnelview I'm talking about is the new feature in Primo 2. When the Tunnelview gets turned on driving through a tunnel, on the right side there is just a purple field with the arrow inside. I guess it is supposed to be a 2D-map. Anybody experiencing the same? Any remedy?

First time through a tunnel for me today and I got the purple box on screen like you did, I would imagine it's supposed to be a zoomed out view of the map, are you using a skin? (I'm using dimka 1.5.1)

There do seem to be a few bugs in this version, maybe this is another one, or it is a problem with the skin, I don't go through enough tunnels to have a go at fixing it.

I'm using dimka 1.5.1, too. I'll try with the standard skin and keep the result posted here.

The nearest tunnel to me (By many miles) is the other side of a toll bridge, So i don't go through tunnels very often.

The skins are fine - you have to have standard colors activated in map settings for the tunnel view to show the section in the tunnel correctly

Thanks for that, The alternative schemes must be missing some data then, something to look into later...

I had the same problem.

You need to add the following lines under [color] in color.ini:

tunnel_overview_background="", 0,0,0
tunnel_overview_main_road="", 255,96,0
tunnel_overview_connected_road="", 127,127,127

Then it should work

Nice detective work! Good job.

(these significant lines were taken out of the Day/Night defaults in data.zip and could be applied to any scheme in the ..Content/Scheme folder one wishes to use)
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Where is color.ini?
I can only find 'color_chart' in Data.zip under ui_igo9 in 800.480.

color.ini is located in Content/Schemes in each of zip files there.
You need to add those lines to each scheme (or check whether they already exist).
You can set the colours however you want.

@Magnu420: This features also works in simulation mode.
