Ive sucessfully run iGO8.3.x on an emulator.
Ive tried with Primo 1.2, messed around with sys.txt, sys.ini, igo9.ini etc untill Ive made a real mess of it

I can get it to 1/2 load by changing names in emulator to match the iGO8 names ie. folder called iGO8 (was Primo 1.2) Start file iGO8 exe (was mobilenavigator.exe)
Runs halfway thru Primo splash screen and drops out of emulator.

Any clues?

I get the same thing. However, with a WinMobile 6 emulator, Primo 1.2 loads and runs fully after a few modifications (no sys.txt, get rid of TTS voices, delete Save folder). But slow.

Emulators work great.


Unfortunately I still cant get Primo 1.2 to fully load.
Removed sys txt, save and tts.
Gets an error 1/2 way thru loading screen... grrr

What resolutions does your current data.zip include?
And are you using a modified branding.zip--like the first batch of 1.2 skins had?

Im using the Branding file dated 22nd march 668kb, from earlier download. Tried the 1kb one too with no change.
Res are 800 480 and 320
I should be able to make this work myself :(

Gets- Fatal error occured in main thread after it asks for language US, UK, AUS
