For CE4.2 you have to follow specific steps during the installation in order to get TT working correctly and you will most likely not be able to save your favourites.
If you prefer it a bit easier you might want to check out Igo or Primo.

Tomtom navigaror 7 on wince 4.2 works but is not trouble free, It always starts with a route in memory and some files corrupt themselves which needs a pc to fix (which isn't funny when you're not at home) iGO Primo works perfectly with all features, can be a bit of a faff to get working but is worth it.

Please do what Fatboyfun requests but also look here: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?914-How-to-solve-error-messages

EDIT: I have a feeling that your device will not work with Primo. Stick only to iGO 8.3.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Looking at the specs this device seems similar to my Medion and Primo 1.1 does work, Bit of a challenge though.
