Most mapchangers have an option to also change POI (and maybe some other files) when they change maps...enabled by a line in utility.ini in the utility folder. If this is what you want to do, you should put the POI files in separate folders as indicated in the Mapchanger instructions for their respective folders--usually in folders named the same as the different map folders such as POI_NT or similar. Otherwise, the POIs displayed will not change with the maps..regardless of how they seem 'connected'. If more than one POI file is kept in the main POI folder, a couple things could happen (assuming they are all for the same geographic area):
1) You would get duplicates and unnecessarily stress and slowdown the screen redraws
2) All are ignored except that file with the latest date.
There are exceptions; for example, some POI/Map sets have both 'normal' and 'extended' POI files. These are meant to go together as they supplement each other.
