When you say English you mean the app menu and TTS/voices are US english ? That would be OK for me.

I'll upload the English that I have for you. Give me about an hour or so because I have to prepare it. Check back later.

All versions of iGO 8 from this forum work on an unlocked Windows CE device, BTW I checked the link in the other thread and it works.

Hello,

I use the following files from TeleAtlas (now tomtom) on iGo primo:
- France_R3_TomTom_2012.06_120712.fbl

I'm looking for the corresponding additional files (for France) from teleatlas (I have the ones from Navteq but they don't seem to work together):

- historical traffic files (also known as speed profiles or smart route profiles (.fsp files)
- point addressing (.fpa files)

Thanks !

I'm not sure how you got the maps set up but you can't put mapsets from different providers in the same folder[s]. They won't work because of the conflict. Maps and POIs yes.

You can look here for Navteq http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?12726-Navteq-Europe-Q4.2012

I have all the Navteq maps but they appear to give sometimes weird routing results in my location (like taking very small roads). So I gave a try to the teleatlas maps and the routing looks better.

So I want to keep using teleatlas maps. However I only have the .fbl so I would like to find the .fsp and .fpa files to get the same level of functionality as I could have with the navteq maps.

Teleatlas (Tomtom) maps don't use all the extra files Navteq maps do, they may never have existed.

Does anyone have a more up to date TeleAtlas maps/poi for North America (or just USA)? The latest I can find is 2011 Q3. I have the latest Navteq but Navteq's POI for USA is pretty bad.
Thanks.

You don't really want the TT [TA] maps for iGO for NA. Navteq maps are MUCH better. Those TA POIs are the latest that are available. I also have them. You DO want them instead of Navteq.

Thanks for sending a file download, I have the .rar downloaded but sorry to say I have no idea what to do with it. My iGO8.3 file structure has a bunch of .fbl maps in Content/Map, but no .rar files. If I put the .rar file there will the iGO start to see it? Or do I need some sort of file conversion? Or do I really need the .fbl files?

Messing with GPS guts is all new to me...
Thanks!
