Resolution setting please

Postby navboy » Thu Jun 06, 2013 5:27 pm

I have igo8 on a navman and is working Ok, I'd copy the software onto a new sd card so that I may run it on a yfatlas 4 which has a screen size of 112 x 65 about 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" the screen size setting is too small for this one, so can anyone please tell me the setting that I need, I know how to open sys file on card and also know where the lines are.

112x65? Are we talking dimension rather than resolution?

I would imagine that yours is set for 320x240, and his is 480x272 (based on 4.3 inch screen, some of it will be behind the bezel)

So change the entries in the sys.txt and delete the save folder to start afresh.

The first time you start the program, this part can take several minutes. specially if you have a large speedcam DB.
Be patient.

You may have to delete the .spud and .scdb files, just leaving the .txt.

And filesdownload is correct, it can take a while to generate the database, certainly around 30 seconds for UK only cams.
