Have a Blueberry IGo 2G0432 worked just great until a few days ago when a black smear suddenly appeared right center of screen. Have tried to find solution on line but to no avail. Is there a fix? If so how? If not, then I assume I have to get another Igo GPS.

Did you try deleting the save folder?

I fear a hardware problem

chas532: I deleted the save folder and when I started up the gps the smear was still there.

katastrofe: I believe you are right and based upon this I think the gps has seen its day. It must be a pixel problem which I do not know how to repair or if there is even a fix for this problem. I will keep it and use it as the test GPS for installing various iGO items.

A smear across the screen will almost certainly be a LCD problem

Kind of thought that might be the case and figure there is no fix for the problem. Thank you for your response.

We have good programs for the cell phone. Suggest Android if you're upgrading.

I also have IGo on an Android Tab.
