What program are you referring to?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

First, you need an unlock:
http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2086-Blue-unlock-Shell-for-Mio-Moov-All-Range-4-3-and-4-7

You can also look at this for unlock:
[Please Register or Login to download file]

pass: varjomies

included all navigations icons + settings+ games + media(latest)+ bt,fm transfer icon

Directions

1.setup
copy apps /flash disk

copy launcpad/flash disk

you may have exe and scr from mio or navman folder

just rename orginal navigation exe

forexa orjinal navigation exe : miomap.exe to mio.exe

unlok exe to miomap.exe

and unlok scr to miomap.scr

copy them flask disk exe folder

reset.unlok will work

2.setup

Connect your device to the computer
Open the MioMap folder on your device
Rename the second MioMap folder to Mio3
Copy the Launchpad folder and the MioMap folder from the unlock into the first MioMap folder
on your device (the same place you renamed the second MioMap folder to Mio3 in step 2)
Copy the Apps folder from the unlock on the root of your internal drive (this is in the same
spot you see the first MioMap folder)
Disconnect your device from the computer
Restart your device

When your device restarts hit the MioMap button and the unlock desktop will appear.
To launch MioMap tap the MioMap button on the unlock desktop.

How Do You install navigation and path ?
copy navigation\sdcard
Edit:
Flash Disk\Launchpad\main\navi1.ini & navi2.ini for navigation (tomtom,igo8,amigo,garmin......)

Forexa:

BITMAPBUTTON
x = 25
y = 51
Command = \Storage Card\Igo8\Igo8.exe or sdmmc or sdcard \igo8\igo8.exe
BitmapNormal = ..\Icons\igo8medium.bmp
BitmapPushed = ..\Icons\igo8medium.bmp

After installing the unlock, then install the program and finally the contents.

Unfortunately yes! You take that chance whenever you try anything new to update your device. But that is why you MUST back everything up first just in case.

in other forums you have map for your device program (probebly miomap 2008 or mireo or spirit). you will have to do some changes in your program but with less risk. as far as i remember your device does not have sd card slot so the risk with unlocking is bigger.
