I try to find a solution for speech recogntion for igo Primo 1.2,I have a mio V735_TV which has a microphone,
I put in the root of primo those .dll files vocon3200_asr,vocon3200_base,vocon3200_platform,vocon3200_pron
and also I put the following to sys.txt :
[vr]
disabled=0
The speech regognition menu is red, then I go to the menu inside and the menu is blue,
But when I said a Greek word it seems that primo doesnt recognice the word,I use TTS Pro Greek voice.
Please let me know if I must put some files inside to the voice .zip or if it needed to put some words inside to the info.ini of voice.
Thanks in advance

Nobody yet has collected all the files and bits that are necessary to get VR fully working. Nobody yet has it working that I have heard of..though many have tried, there always seems to be something more missing. Until someone comes up with a full set of files and edits required from a fully working VR set (I have about 90+% that I know of), most have given up, and everybody is waiting for Primo 2.0 to see if VR then works.

Thanks for your answer and I think that you are right at all, but I have seen the following about iGO Primo v9.2.1.178658 (from 9 Feb 2011) and say this :
<<Also iGo Primo 1.2 supports automatic speech recognition that allows the driver to manage the program in their native language>>.
I have try the speech regognition and to this version but it dosen't work.
Here is the official advertisment of NNG:
iGO Primo v9.2.1.178658 (from 9 Feb 2011)
Requirements: No cards. Only 800x480.
Overview: The popular navigation software provides the most comprehensive set of advanced features for the most demanding users who want to maximize the quality and effectiveness of the use of navigational equipment.
The company Nav N Go, a developer of navigation software, today announced a new version of the program for GPS navigation iGO Primo v1.2 with support for third-party services, enhanced voice features and satellite navigation. The developers have added support for third-party services such as Google local search, information on traffic conditions in real time and alert service road speed cameras.
Advanced voice technology TTS Pro allows the user to notify the traffic situation, taken from information received through the cellular or radio communications standard RDS TMC. Also, the voice warning will not allow the driver to skip the dressing or cross county or state. Also iGo Primo 1.2 supports automatic speech recognition that allows the driver to manage the program in their native language.

iGO Primo 9.2.1.178658

Thanks a lot.

I think the key to the NNG statement is the word
SUPPORT.
Then, it is likely up to the manufacturer of the particular hardware to implement the steps necessary to turn
support into
working.
My theory is that VR was intended only for the OEM, and that individual specific files for individual specific hardware may be required. If somebody could upload a complete Primo 1.2 out-of-the-box OEM VR working version from one hardware device, one could easily see what is required or missing based on comparison.
It could be that Device A requires a particular DLL, while Device B requires a different DLL with the same name, tailored to the hardware.
But that's just my opinion....I could be wrong.
At the VERY least, for a starting point, you need a dictionary.voice file that includes, at a minimum, most or all of the commands as described here:
http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?6958-Complete-Nuance-Primo-1.2-TTS-Pro-dictionary.voice-file-for-Driver-AlertsThen, some changes or additions to data.zip are required, the DLLs you mentioned are required, some additional folders and files to the basic Primo folder architecture need to be added....and on and on.

As I understand we have to wait the new version of Primo.
I am lucky bacause, I understand that no way I could fix the problem so there is no matter to spend my time to this project.
Thanks a lot for your answers and for your advices.

The only
supposedly complete Primo 2 with VR I have seen is strictly Brazilian Portuguese. But you probably know this from your visiting/posts on another forum. And even then, I could not get it to work (un'fixed' .EXE, and known working .EXE's from the same approximate vintage did not work).

I have not seen a full set of components for any other language. If they exist, they have not been shared yet.
