And if you remove that {language}.zip file (and/or restore the original Spanish one), does it go back to normal operation?
If yes, there is something wrong with that new file.
Can you give me a link to it so I can check it out? Or put it as an attachment?
I can understand your concern with the language in the skin, but here is the reason why it is:
The diMka skin provides options and menu choices that do not appear in the default (or many other) skins. Particularly for TTS-Pro and other advanced functions. For this reason, the 'normal' non-English language files have no interpretation of these custom buttons and choices. For legal reasons, diMka (and other skinners) cannot provide 'language' files for iGo/Primo without getting into trouble. Therefore, it is up to other users to produce replacement language files for any particular 3rd party skin. Some who do this may have more skills than others.
The whole reason I 'forced' you to use the diMka skin (and gave you the new voice files) was to see that it solved your issue with camera/voice announcements. If it did, then it proved my point, but you can choose NOT to use the diMka skin if the language differences are a big problem. You can use another skin (only for Primo2!), or none at all if you want. However, if your FDA and camera alerts then go away, the diMka skin may be the only real solution to have everything you want.
Try to set everything with the diMka skin loaded, then try to switch to another skin more 'Spanish-Friendly', and see if you still get the same results.
It is possible that, once your settings/options are set (and written to system.ini in the Save folder), they will stay functional regardless of the skin used.
Possible. Not guaranteed.
The good thing is, once you have the options set correctly, there may be no reason to visit them often, and the rest of the normal functionality of the program will remain in your Spanish, so the menu choices for the options being only in English do not matter so much.
So you have to decide which is the best compromise for you!
In any case, I, and others, can continue to help where we can, but (for me at least) another language other than English...or changing something from English to something else...is MY big problem! My fault..I only know ONE language. You are better that you can function in MORE than one!
