Great to see Navitotal has returned. I've been wanting to write this for bloody ages, waiting for you guys to return.

I want/need a standalone TMC device with WinCE so I can run iGo. Biggest problem I'm having is actually finding one. Without TMC, I'd just go for a Binatone F430 which is truly a top device in my opinion. I'm finding it impossible to find a device which supports TMC. There's a few Alibaba ones but they're all bulk buy and have no resellers on eBay or Chinavasion or anywhere else.

Something like this would be ideal, but you can't buy them. You can only contact the supplier and that's not brilliant. Does anyone know where I can find one please?

Some Mio / Navmans have TMC, Although do your research as some models are easier to get working than others.

Look at the Mio C720 on EBAY.

Can it be unlocked to run iGo Primo etc?

Yes it can

Problem is there's none on eBay in the UK. I think this model would be ideal but can't find one. I can't believe the Chinese aren't knocking out these devices

Over here the C-series isn't that popular, you get Mio Moov's, Spirits and various Navman's (Same device essentially) instead.

Some do TMC, some don't. The ones that do some are easier to get working with iGO than others.

Also older Medions work as well but the newer ones lock out the TMC for other software.

Any particular Medion you can think of? They released a nice Medion sat nav over here a while back, people bought it but it's very locked and you can't do much with it other than use the noddy software provided.

MEDION GoPal E4445 looks an excellent device with TMC and apparently can be unlocked, but all the sites are in German.

What's the deal with unlocking these GoPal's any idea?

Nabi has a newer Medion device.

I think you need to replace an exe file.

But always do your research!
