Something isnt right cos BOTH IGO8 and Primo arent sounding out TTS on my chinese double din. IGO8 is not even sounding out the preview sample TTS anymore.

What do you experienced guys think this is pointing to when this is happening on BOTH applications? Thanks in advance.

It's not enough to have a tts voice, you need a tts "engine" too, and when, the voice and "engine" must be compatible.
Do you have a tts voice and "engine" and which one(s)?
