i download IGo primo 2.4-9.6.13.xxxx (6 Nov 2012) for my clarion Nx-501 double din
which is based on SD card . i download and map i am using North ameriaca 2013 Q4
there is a NON-tts files works the display street name etc. but when i copy TTS , there is no spoken voice at all
while IGO load it gives error " unsupported voice file " i have to press OK and it works without TTS

can any expert help me to solve the issue ? any one has working TTS for above IGo version ??
which file i needed and what i suppose to modify in SYS.txt ??

above package i download in another SD card as extra backup, to learn as well just in case if original card screwed still i can have GPS
everything works just fine ...except TTS problem

the original SD card has IGo 2011(older) and it has TTS voice works perfect without problem !!
original has a voice file format is Loq "Voice_TTS-loq-eng-us-f1.zip"

Beside the TTS voices files, you need to have the TTS engine as well, it is part of the downloaded version.
To enable voices this line/s should be in the sys.txt:
[sound]
csv_voice_enabled=1

still not UP and working
one change happened , the error msg. "" unsupported voice file check the log file" is gone after i add the line sys.txt

csv_voice_enabled=1

and igo load without error now but completely silent not voice no beep nothing ....
i tried to download language package but there is only zip files which goes to "voice " folder there is no package which include (TTS engine+US english + .dll files) which fits to
IGo primo 2.4-9.6.13.xxx

i surf tts related download links to download, but all are since 2012 everything is disable
is there any fresh link with only TTS files and folders (TTS engine+US english + .dll files) for US english voices

can someone please point me right direction or torent link with full package with instructions please !!!

Does your device even have the power to handle TTS? How much memory?

Go get the "English only Primo 2.4" (US), it have all you need, from chas521's device.

There is a working link from Aug. 2013 with TTS voices here:

But the engine is not there, only voices.

Again, get the English version from above.

thanks i got it , didn't work i guess it might be engine issue. i am newbe so learning too, how TTS engine looks like (folder name and files inside etc.)
because it might be there conflicting each other...just i don't know or too many different tts voice file ...
can some one just provide name list for files and folder of TTS engine ?? as well names of all .DLL files for TTS for iGo Primo 2.4-9.6.13.xxxx

I had it working on my device when I ran that build.
I'll see if I still have it laying around. I had the same issue with it, but played with it unitl I got it running.

i don't think iGO primo 2.4 , TTS can be fix with my UNIT (Clarion NX-501)

actually original SD card is crashed...but i saved all file to my HDD , but when i copy to another SD card it simply dosen't work...
if i am able to copy all original files to new SD card, but with new map/poi/speed cam/ etc than i have old iGO ..work with new map !!

i don't know how to hack the .lyc file with new map as well device.nng issue with new SD card and head unit SYNC. !!
- How to make clone/patch / crack /cured original SD card files with new SD card ?/
- can i mix match data.zip (original with cured primo 2.4) to work Primo 2.4 with TTS
- any tutorial available how to patch /cured iGO suitable to work with clarion NX-501
- is Clarion has specially build data.zip ?? is that true ??

can anyone has some hint on above .. ?
