Turning off the street name "word balloons" on Primo 2.0

Postby Odiggy1 » Sat Jul 28, 2012 3:56 pm

I am currently running Primo 2.0.
My base map has the street names along the street itself. When the GPS sats are found and my actual location appears, the map then displays the street names floating in these "word ballons" sort of like the funny pages.
Does anyone know how to revert back to the normal. name type that runs along the length of the street? The word ballons get in the way of POI and are, IMO pretty obtrusive and unattractive.

All help appreciated!0

Add this to your sys.txt

[3d_config]
disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=1
roadsign_bitmaps=0
roadsign_always_framed=0

That is correct. This explains more.

[3d_config]
disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=1 ;=0 balloon =1 in street
