Nope. Assuming you have 3DCars in iGo8 and Themechanger in the same directory (iGo8), mortscript should be:

mortscript="\StorageCard\iGo8\Themechanger\Mortscript.exe"

work_dir is correct you do NOT specify 3DCars in the path

And lastly:

SUCCESS

For those with a Maisun unit on WinCE5 you can use the script above. One note that hung me up for a little bit. On the 3D Cars, the only one that works (and is actually stated but only as "for best results") is the default. We now have one car as a locator/position/place holder.

Please paste the complete instructions, commands and steps here, i will try to get this in my 8.3.2 unit..

This outline will attempt to walk you through the procedure to install an alternate cursor as a 3Dcar in your iGo8.3 environment. Please note that as of now, only the default car works with this. If you try and choose other cars it won't find any and will just hang.

Next, this outline assumes that you have:

1) WinCE5

2) Maisun Unit

3) iGo8.3
a) Logical pointing to igo8.exe should point to where your iGo8.exe is. Check it under Console.

4) All references to StorageCard refer to the SD card in a Maisun. Should you have a different unit or even if you have a Maisun, check what your unit calls the SD card. If different, please change all references in SYS.TXT (see point 7 below) to whatever it's called on your device

5) Cars. In this case I am referring to the 3D cars called 3DCars1_3.rar PLEASE NOTE that when disemboweled it produces a FOLDER NOT a ZIP called 3dCars. See SYS.TXT for more on this. Place this folder in \storagecard\igo8 directory

6) Skin. The above 3DCars folder is "mated" to the zip file which you get from the UNRARed dimkaMegaduck_1135.rar . This file is called diMkaspecter.zip and needs to go into the skin folder located in \storagecard\iGo8\content\skin directory

7) sys.txt .Change/Add the following section in sys.txt. These car sizes are the default values; change at your own pleasure/risk.

Hi folks, a real novice to this here so please bear with me. I have the IGO version sat nav system.
I downloaded the 3D cars rar file, unrared it & got,
"3Dcars", "installing 3Dcars" & "readme_cars3D".
I put "3Dcars" in the IGO8 folder, & added
[3dcar]
work_dir="\SD Card\iGO8"
mortscript="\SD Card\iGO8\Themechanger\MortScript.exe"
to the sys page file, but its still not working. Also, tried siberian's instructions, but it still didn't work.
Any help greatly appreciated.


Meant to say, if I havent got 8.3, any ideas where I can get it?
