iGO Primo 1.2 runs perfectly on my B430 albeit without 3D buildings and Dem files due to the slow processor.

Use this programme... here
Use this map pack... here(Not the latest but only a small download to try before committing to a full Europe download)

To start with just copy the map (.FBL) into Primo\Content\Map
Open sys.txt with Notepad on your PC and find the section [gps]
Change the values to Port=7 and Baud=57600
Then set your device to run iGO.exe

Have a play around before installing other content.

Just a note:
In the sys.txt included with that package, there is no GPS section so, if it's necessary (for Magnu420), copy and paste the below anywhere into the existing sys.txt and Save it:

[gps]
port=7
baud=57600

then i tried to exit out it wouldnt let me ?? so i had to switch of the satnav it self via the button,
i looked into the sys.text to edit the gps com port and baud rate and found out they was already there
anyway loaded the map into primo still works ;)so i loaded the voices from here >>> http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6962-iGO-Primo-1.2-Nuance-TTS-Pro-Voices ,put the sd card back into satnav
switched it on started to get the primo splash screen then it stops with a box saying unsupported voice,please see log ??? i searched for the log in the primo folder and couldnt see it also ive looked on the satnav it self
still couldnt see it

any advice on what to do ...

How did you install the voices?

The folder tts_nua_v5 needs to go in the Primo root folder, ie, Next to iGO.exe
Inside this folder there will be two folders COMMON and ENG, ENG for ENGlish UK

The voice file Voice_TTS-nua-eng-uk-f1-lua-dri40-vssq5f22.zip goes in \Primo\Content\Voice (Serena, UK)

i just copy and paste the voices into the relevant folders primo/content/voice/the two rar files named voice_tts-nua-eng-uk-f1-lua and voice_tts-nua-eng-uk-m1-lua (unrared),then i followed the paths for tts_nua_v5 in the other folders putting the files in their folders primo/tts_nua_v5/common/speech/componants, anyway i started again from the start,base map,navcore,and voices which worked so far so good,then i loaded map United Kingdom_83_NQ_2011.Q1_110405.fbl,put card into satnav turned it on still working ;),then i loaded poi United_KingdomTA_Premium_2010.09_101021.poi (didnt bother with ROI) and loaded histspeed United_Kingdom_83_NQ_60_2010.Q1_100702.hsp,turned satnav on started the set up wizard no problem,put in a destination then i noticed the street names were showing slowly,then a window box came up summat about memory cache then the satnav froze i had to switch it off via the button,i think either the poi is slowing it down or the histspeed is,im gonna try again but without one or the other

forgot to add i followed the paths from the link i found earlier

The X430 has similar specifications to my B430.

Are you able to access the WinCE control panel, If so adjust the system memory division by dragging the slider as far left as it'll go.

Control Panel -> System -> Memory tab -> Move slider to left = more RAM, less temp storage.

Also delete the save folder to wipe all the settings, Sometimes iGO saves settings from faulty installs that causes itself problems later.

Sorry to butt-in here but there seems to be some confusion in setting up the program. The programs that I have uploaded directly from my device all have 100% completely working TTS. There is nothing to add except your geographical content plus you may need to add any specific device entries to the sys.txt.

If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Yes it will, And you can have more than one GPS app installed, Have the main one assigned to the big button and another one under the MORE button.

Did you extract all folders and SHELL.ini to the card? Set your device to run MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe as JSBHello.exe needs to be killed otherwise it stays in front.

It was ready to go, place all folders/file on the card and reboot your device, No editing required?
