I seem to be the only person who gets the 2D mode as Track Up, and it's driving me crazy. I want it to be North Up, and can't seem to figure it out.

Running a Mio C310x. Tried a couple different 8.3 builds, they all have the same problem. Sys.txt reads as follows:

iGO with GJ 6.18 skin has this feature as a cockpit button, It cycles through 3D, 2D North up and 2D direction of travel up, You can turn off unneeded options in the menu as well.

I can acknowledge that with GJ 6.18 you will have that icon to cycle 3D/2Dheadup/2Dnorth. However, I have the same options using default skin.

I am using 8.3.2.152657 by the way.

Yah, but I want the Overview mode to automatically go to North Up, then return to the regular 3D navigation thereafter.
Manually selecting it from the cockpit was getting to be a pain (and dangerous while driving!)

Anyways, after much headscratching, finally got it work by adding these to my sys.txt:

autoset2donmap=1

2dheadup=1
