I made a good note of the file types used by my iGo Primo but am now stuck with the Q notation. What is the meaning of Q1, Q2, Q3, etc in the file names?

I assume you mean for example:- 2013 Q1 or 2013 Q3? If that is the case, it is the map version. Meaning 2013 the first quarter of the year or the first 3 months of 2013 etc.
