Wince Media Player

Your main problem is a device that is too limited for the stuff that you are trying to do with it.
A locked and uncomplete Windows could be solved on some devices like Medio, Mio and so but for a noname device no chance.
Don't get me wrong here but instead of trying to install some software that most likely won't run on the device you should do some tests and if possible install missing DLL files into the program folders of your application.
This gives you at least a few more working programs.
However, the best option would be to buy a device that can keep up with your demand ;)

you version of coreplayer seemed to work but it always gives me an error crash and it freezes my unit,,

i always have to reboot it,,,

and i did extract the .cab using CabInstl 1.04

but when i go see whats been extracted, i dont see any EXE file.. they are named stranged,,

like SETUP_~2.999

no .EXE in the end.....

and it say not a valid wince file if i try to run it,, ?????

That's what cab files look like inside, If you've got the patience look in the setup.xml and you can see what the files will be renamed to, It's not easy though.

If you can not install .cab files using a filemanager than it means that all the needed parts for that (and most likely more) is not included in your CE system.
The only chance is to use a zipped version of the Coreplayer, check for missing DLL files (Dependency walker or similar) add the files and hope for the best.
I never used a .cab install for the player by the way and I start it directly from a selfmade menu, same for all my other apps.

Before you risk killing your device :
check your Flash drive and if there is more than some empty folders you better leave all there untouched!
Some devices store vital files in the flash and they are being copied after a cold start/reset as the CE system will be flashed new each time on your device making it almost impossible to use Registry hacks without risking a brick.
You best option so far is to use a simple menu instead of the GPS software (just change the link in the settings).
If you try the one I made you will find the Coreplayer already included and it might work straight away after adjusting the paths in the script and ini files.

The menu is for 800x480 pixel screens, but most of is already placed in areas that need little to no change so that the menu can be used on smaller screens.
There is a xxx32.exe which can be used to simulate the menu on the PC - there you see the look and control changes you made, but you can not start any of the programs.
The .ini files are partly documented and after a few tries you will see that it pretty easy to adjust what you need.
