HatManSan wrote:Greetings All,
I have done a bit of skipping on this forum and find a bewildering array of knowledge and information. So hopefully someone here will know what to do.
So I have just been given a complete N14644. The previous owner tried to use custom maps, I think he said. Anyway the device is 100% empty. Signing into to his account or mine from way back when I had a Go730. The illusion of installation continues for a while but then dies with some crap about corruption. Chkdsk says there is nothing wrong with the device. Anyway no I have a paperweight with a TFT on it. Can this device be fixed? I am familiar and happy with most PC shinnaigans having been part of the XBOX-SCENE back in the day.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks

Horizontal map version
Vertical navcore
From navcore vertical down and horizontal maps
If the box is green you can use the map with this navcore (if it is red not)
--
5) Be sure that you have the right map.
Is there a meta from the map you want to use.
No meta then you can not use the map.

Copie the chosen map to root of your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

6) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device root.
