May I make a suggestion. In the US, your unit is a XL335se, as you stated. In Europe, that same unit is a XL IQroutes2. The current prepatched navcore for this unit is 9.150. If TT Home won't up your unit past 9.103, then load your backup & try:

Again, copy the .cab files over the backup files, overwriting any common files. Use only the ttsystem & PNDNavigator files from the .rar.

If all goes well, you will not see a pence worth of difference between it and 9.205.

Still no sound mate...maybe time to call it a day..cheers though for your help..
