1. Both my post 3 & bd's post 2 will work. The post 3 version will use your internal files/folders for any files/folders that are not on the card.

2. The Truck map requires a meta.dct & a tmeta.dct file. The tmeta.dct contained the Truck data. Both files are generated by the newer & up to date patchers. FastActivate ENG 29.05.2011 {1.8.7.0} will generate both files.

I am having a problem with Fastactivate....when i try and extract it, it extracts everything except the .exe file.

I have used Autoactivate which got the map working.....i have a "Europe_truck-349.meta.dct" & "Europe_truck-349.tmeta.dct"....should these be renamed?

Scrub that last post....just used Autoactivate again...and now everything appears to be working fine. Can select Truck profile, bus profile etc....

I have just got a new sd card and copied the latest truck map Europe_Truck_870.3421 (basic not auto) and the Truck Navcore 8.398.1917 and found the TAASE.exe file,opened it as administrator, job sorted, seems to look ok and will try it out proper when i get to work.I also make a poi file in my old map version and put all my favourite places in so i can transfer it to the new map. (as pointed out before the favourite file does not transfer on truck maps so i copy and paste my poi over) . Hope that little bit of info helps someone.

its all working fine and dandy ,no hiccups.

Well it seems to have the same old problem of northbound over the dartford crossing so you have to do map corrections. i think it has a 12 1/2 ton weight limit and other stuff. best bet is to start from 2 junctions before the tunnels and clear to 2 junctions after the tunnel. when you have altered all that ,reboot the tomtom or switch off take card out and reinsert it. worked for me i hope.
