1. Changing navcores will not solve your issue.
2. Where did you get the Calib.txt file?

Please run TomTom Current Configuration {13.11.2011}. Post the results here.

What were you trying to do just prior to this issue occurring?

Let the TT on charge for a few hours,
do a hard reset, followed by the TT clear flash tool,
check again if the TT is working now.
And where did you get the calib file?

3 options:

1. If you have access to a navcore & map, that are already patched for your 520, put them on a SD card & give it a go.

2. If no patched navcore & map are available for option 1, but you have access to a copy of the device's ttgo.bif file from any source, then put the ttgo.bif file, navcore, map & FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 (13.02.2013) on the SD card. Patch the navcore & map then attempt to boot.

3. If no patched navcore & map for option 1 & no ttgo.bif file for option 2, but you know your 520's DeviceUniqueID & DeviceSerialNumber, we can create a ttgo.bif file.

i have a tt go 520 and tt go 530 both with duff internal memory, both work very well from sd cards with full system on them i.e. n.c. and maps and ttgo.bif file. after the first couple of boot ups they boot up very quickly. if the sd card is removed and then replaced the first couple of boot ups are slow but after that they boot up as normal. if you connect to your computer with sd card in the device, this also takes a while to initialise. this is a very small price to pay for having a fully working device. the best option is to try and recover your internal memory. Good luck.
regards.

OK Read post cheers will approach this now. BL = 55120 Might seem the internal battery is dying, as it hasn't held charge since messing about yesterday.

I must say, ive bought lots of gadgets and this has been the worse buy ever.

Ive found an old backup with bl = s5.5120 ( Backup folder from TomTom software )

Map is ID=United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland.pna
1528988652
705
build=1480

Which I think is what it shipped with.

popped on a SD card , Boot = No responsive touch screen
Fast activated Run from SD card , boot = None responsive.
popped old backup on TT Mem = None responsive
Fast ACtivated TT Men boot none response.

I'm suspect the unit has a hardware fault. Its been keep in its case etc but still.

Please update your UK&ROI map to eliminate the possibility of having a navcore & map incompatibility issue.
